Xplor Academy is an Oslo-based educational platform that turns learning into playful exploration through board games, storytelling, geography, history, culture and taste.
Founded by Laurent Benguigui, Xplor Academy was built from the ground up — from concept and game design to workshops, educational resources, marketing and website development.
After a background in science and many years working internationally in France and Mexico, Laurent created Xplor Academy to combine his passion for education, culture, food and playful learning. Through Xplor 1491, Xplor World and interdisciplinary workshops, Xplor Academy creates hands-on learning experiences for children, families, schools, libraries and cultural institutions.

Xplor Academy has collaborated with Deichman Bibliotek, Sentralen, Smaksverkstedet, Norges Røde Kors, Oslo International School, Oslo Kommune and Lycée Français d’Oslo.
Workshops can be led in French, English, Norwegian and Spanish.
Xplor Academy is also developing Xplor Nutrition, an illustrated educational project that helps children understand the body and healthy habits through a Formula 1 analogy.
